Richard Klitzberg

Richard has spent more than 45 years advising institutional investors and high net worth families in all matters relating to the professional management of their assets.  At Bache & Co. (now Wachovia Securities), he established the investment management services division, consultant to corporate, municipal and labor union retirment funds.  In 1980, Richard became founder and president of First Investors Asset Management Co., the first firm to manage high yield bond separate accounts for major institutions.  Klitzberg Associates, Inc. was formed in 1982 to consult to, and market for, specialty investment managers.  Klitzberg Associates has been instrumental in raising more than $8 billion in assets for LBO firms, venture capital, private equity, real estate and hedge funds.  In addition, Richard overseas the investment funds for a small number of clients and is the general partner of two private investment partnerships.  Richard is a graduate of Western Maryland College and the University of Baltimore School of Law.

Steve Marks

Steve Marks joined Richard Klitzbeg in 2003.  He is a frequent speaker at investment conferences.  Since 1983 Steve has worked as an investment banker (Nomura Securities, Merrill Lynch, UBS Paine Webber), a fund industry executive (Eaton Vance and Keystone Investments, which is now part of Wells Fargo), and an insurance executive (Prudential Financial).  He has built international joint ventures in asset management and created distribution partnerships in developed and emerging markets.  Steve is an honors graduate of Brown University and received his MBA from the Wharton School – the University of Pennsylvania.
